Title: Cross-gaming on Ardor
Post by: madfox on December 26, 2018, 07:46:27 pm
Hi everyone! I invite you to discuss such a killing Ardor platform use case as — Cross-Gaming. What does this term mean? Cross-Gaming: When a player’s experience in one game have an impact when he plays another game. For example, when a player can use shared assets (characters, quests, etc.) in several different games. Game assets (e.g., characters, weapons, or skills) based on blockchain technology can be made portable to other games that use blockchain technology; they are no longer limited to existing within a single game. As a result, many independent game developers can move towards developing blockchain-based games, forming cross-gaming partnerships with each other. For example, Tarasca DAO cards could become cool cars in racing game. A lot of opportunities. Let's discuss this awesome use case!

My interest in crypto and gaming has been through the angle of crypto collectibles.

How would it work to take a character and all of its skills from game to game. Would each game need to be connected to the same central database / blockchain?
