Hello,

i have downloaded the mobile app but the version is 2.0.9 not 2.0.10 & you have a bug in the coin exchange

Hello,

i have downloaded the mobile app but the version is 2.0.9 not 2.0.10 & you have a bug in the coin exchange

2.0.9 is probably the version of the random node you've been connected to, not the app itself.
Title: Re: Ardor v2.0.10
Post by: hob on January 02, 2018, 01:40:06 pm
The version didn't make it through in the Ardor chain yet and is not offered as update, manual download necessary. Results in peers running Ardor 2.0.9 are listed as up-to-date.

Update: That disappeared after I unchecked Settings - Device Settings - Connect to testnet (see https://nxtforum.org/index.php?topic=15169.0), and reconnected UI against client. v2.0.9 clients are not listed as up-to-date any more.

you have a bug in the coin exchange
That is a very precise description of a problem.

@Jelurida
This is a serious issue imo:
https://nxtforum.org/trading-exchanges/bug-ignis-can-not-buy-ardor/msg239738/#msg239738
If I understood correctly this is in contradiction with what is claim in the p7 of the white paper.
https://www.jelurida.com/sites/default/files/JeluridaWhitepaper.pdf

This should be a very high priority as it could result in bad image.

Only the seller of ardor should pay fee in ardr, the buyer of ardr should pay fee in child chain tokens and his transaction should be bundle by a bundler.

Keep up the good work and looking forward for a solution.

I bought JLRDA tokens months ago, waited for the snapshot and have been trying to see or locate my IGNIS tokens since yesterday? I installed the Ardor server version 2.0.9 that shows me with a 0 balance and have an Ardor Wallet installed on my desktop (that has never opened). My question or delima is where are my IGNIS tokens and how do i see them to confirm i received the agreed swap? ???

I guess transactions resulting in ARDR balance changes can not be bundled, so have to pay fees in ARDR.

You can check your balance with:
https://ardor.tools/

What is the currency ID of the JLRDA tokens you bought?

Forging was going just fine in the v2.0.10 and now I get the following notice :

Your effective balance is zero, you cannot forge. (Effective balance is your balance after 1440 block confirmations).

any ideas?

Correct.  Coin exchange transactions to/from ARDR are on the ARDR chain.

My JLRDA balance from the .76 round of the ICO was currency not asset....went to ardor.tools and doesn't locate old NXT but found it using ARDOR in leau of NXT-acct-numbers and it lists account number 14045808945916675701 no assets, no forged balance but balance of 40 ARDR valued at $75.21 which is a little alarming to me....what or where do i go to see my INGIS? The website says i am to receive 1 IGNIS for each JLRDA....please help me i am a newbie.

UI bug: the description of account leasing for the account receiving the lease is wrong. It is the same as for the account doing the leasing. That is, it begins, "Your account effective balance will be leased out in..."

UI bug: on the blocks page, the average fee per block is showing 0 when I calculate it as 0.6667. The average amount per block is also showing as zero, even on the page which includes height 2547, which has 1000 ARDR sent. This makes me think it is not just rounding down.

(I'm not sure what the "average amount" means, incidentally. What units? Does it convert child-chain tokens, currencies, asset values etc into ARDR?)

NVRMD, I got it going now.

You can choose them, those are the defaults (you can customize creating conf/nxt.properties):

Code: [Select]
# Port for incoming peer to peer networking requests.
nxt.peerServerPort=27874

# Port for http/json API requests.
nxt.apiServerPort=27876
nxt.apiServerSSLPort=27876

# When using testnet, all custom port settings will be ignored,
# and hardcoded ports of 26874 (peer networking), 26876 (API)
# and 26877 (SSL API) will be used.

Hi Riker

RE:sha256 checksum for Mac users

Can you please to provide the sha256 checksum (in particular to dmg files) for the original file that you uploaded for NXT and Ardor releases?

Also, please include the dmg checksum in future posts.

Thanks

the cancel button on open orders seems to be missing with 2.0.10

under open coin orders i do not see the order from my adress any more.

The cancel button is already available now for the current account orders but the open orders table mixes orders from all accounts and does not support paging.
This will be fixed in the next release. The open orders table will show only the orders made by the account sorted by chain and by rate descending.

You can sell them using the coin exchange feature in the wallet but in order to buy ARDR you need to have some ARDR to pay the transaction fee.

Average fee per block is only calculated when you display the "Forged by You" tab.
It divides the forgedBalanceFQT value returned by getAccount by the numberOfBlocks value returned by getAccountBlockCount and adjusts the units to whole Ardor and rounds to 2 decimals places.

thanks for quick response
I still have a question.
How should I do this. Is this described somewhere.

When opening coin exchange I see three coins standing AERU-ARDR- BITSWIFT.
How does this work?

Can I also send the coins to another exchange?

thank you very much

vriendelijk dank

Jos Bakker

OK, thanks. Maybe it should blank out rather than show an incorrect value. (Average amount seems to blank out for "Forged by You"; I'm not sure why.)

Please rename "Effective Balance" to "Forging Balance". I have observed that it confuses newbies. They see Effective Balance is zero for whatever reason and it scares them. The word "Effective" is pretty meaningless on its own. Effective at what? The word only works if you already know what it means.

Not any more. It was happening the same day I set up the lease, and probably the same browser session, but is OK now.

Edit: I've been able to reproduce it on TestNet, with ARDOR-RTYD-LJXQ-EPNJ-H7AQ5. It's persistent after closing the browser tab. I'm guessing it will fix itself when the 1440 block waiting period is up and the lease becomes real.

1. While connected to e.g. ARDOR chain i cant see my other coin balance, it just states all zeroes and in order to check my e.g. IGNIS balance i need to switch to IGNIS chain. Is it going to be fixed or is this by design? 2. Also what is the purpose of removing second side of exchange from one screen? Like we only have now Buy IGNIS with ARDR when it was pretty convinient to see Sell Orders and Buy Orders together.

After a few days of opening and operating just fine, the Ardor client app 2.0.10 will not open on Mac OSX 10.13.  Tried installing again from a new Ardor installer download from jelurida.com but the app still does not open at all.   The NXT client 1.11.12 opens fine.

UPDATE:  As a workaround, I moved the .ardor folder and relaunched the Ardor client which launched the app and then updated the blockchain and log files.
