DeBuNe / Re: ERC20 DeBuNe tokens swap
« on: April 21, 2019, 11:50:20 am »
This is definitely an exciting update for DeBuNe!

While things evolved in all the crypto world, the technology we implemented, based on NXT, wasn't good anymore. We had to keep the concept, but code again.

Can you please provide a little bit more information about the tech you will be using, the platform you will be building on. Will there be any connection to NXT more than the current assets?

 :)

Ardor General Discussion / Re: ARDOR APP STORE (BOUNTY PROGRAM)
« on: January 31, 2019, 02:03:52 am »
1. PRESENTATION
A web that presents the projects of tools of free use in Ardor that are promoted by the community.
Each project would have a space for
-an image,
-a description of its use case,
-the link to github
-the coordinator,
-the cumulative reward that would earn the dev.

2. BOUNTIES.
The devs and designers who work on the projects would receive the bounty, in proportion to their work. The distribution would be decided by the coordinator, and would only be executed when the objectives are met.

The bounties would come from voluntary contributions. Each donor could decide if his contribution is destined to the group of projects, or to one in particular. ANG would be in charge of managing those funds, which could be in Ardor/Ignis or Bitcoin, USD, EUR, etc.

1. ardornxt.io website is developing towards this type of presentation. I just added a straight forward html list of projects because the need felt urgent. It is planned to build a page template for each project to have own presentation similar to how you have outlined.

2. The bounty system is already developed there and is easily usable.

Nxt General Discussion / Re: NXT IS NOT UNDER ATTACK !!!

Excellent!

I will be muting this post since we don't want people searching for information to get the wrong impression about an attack  :)

I'll give you some time to notice this and take any notes from it first.

Glad it's sorted out!

I'm not sure what happened to the post where you explained that you switched two lines in the properties file, but the quick answer is that the SQL of the query is wrong and maybe this contributed to the wrong total.

Let's wait for more details.

Ardor General Discussion / Re: Cross-gaming on Ardor
« on: January 11, 2019, 09:13:40 pm »
My interest in crypto and gaming has been through the angle of crypto collectibles.

How would it work to take a character and all of its skills from game to game. Would each game need to be connected to the same central database / blockchain?

History is happening today at block 543000 on the Ardor #blockchain platform when Lightweight  Smart Contracts AND real estate child chain MPG are going live. While others are still talking,  ARDR is delivering!

Nxt Blockchain Creation Kit / Re: connected to other peers
« on: December 15, 2018, 03:20:27 pm »
The peer connections are managed in the well-known peers setting (nxt.properties). When you set up your network of nodes, you can replace them with your own IPs. I also changed my port setting simultaneously, so this may have had something to do with it (but I doubt it).

How did you change wallpaper

CSS. I will make that tutorial after the one on setting up the network (delayed due to busy-ness).

Nxt Helpdesk / Re: Nxt Creation Kit updates
« on: November 25, 2018, 03:52:24 pm »
When you use the Nxt Blockchain Creation Kit, you are essentially creating a fork. The future updates do not project back and apply to previous versions. This way you build and develop and use the blockchain from the moment of your creation. It becomes your own project and will not be overwritten or updated.

Nxt Blockchain Creation Kit / Re: [REQUEST] Detailed NBCK Tutorial
« on: October 04, 2018, 02:25:51 pm »
So happy to see your posted questions. I have been making a video demo of the creation of a blockchain. Of course, this is not an official tutorial, but I would like to address as many questions as I can.

https://youtu.be/2R26FwvS0dE

After I complete this, I will outline the steps in written form.

My next installments will be on setting up nodes, compiling and running - and many of your questions will be answered in that context.

I wish I had more time to spell it all out here right now. But stay tuned.  :)

Nice work, Logan!

There is some amazement that this is still going on! (Including my own) how can we message this again? I also looked at the Nxt-Kit project on GitHub. Is it still current?

Here is an opportunity for the community to help sponsor an incredibly successful educational project initiated, funded and developed by Eric Funk, an Ardor / Nxt community member.

Please consider a generous contribution to help give this basic education to serious seekers of information about blockchain solutions.

Nxt Projects / Re: Asia JPL promoters to entertainment industry
« on: September 11, 2018, 11:51:43 pm »
This post is becoming more relevant to me as I have just created my own blockchain using the Nxt Blockchain Creation Kit and am thinking of ways to promote it's use. How is this project doing as some time has passed?
